The length of diagonal of a square is 16 cm, its adjacent side will be

HeRe IS UR AnS:

Given the length of the diagonal of the square = 16cm

by Pythagoras theorem we get,

diagonal² = side² + side² (it can be applied only for square. here diagonal is the hypotenuse and sides are the base and perpendicular respectively)

➡ 16² = 2side²

➡ 256 = 2side²

➡ 256/2 = side²

➡ 128 = side²

➡ side = √128cm or 11.3cm (approximately)

C) 8√ 2 is ur Answer....
