Answer:

Perimeter = 100√2 cm or 141.42 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

ABCD is a square.

AB = BC = CD = AD = sides

AC = Diagonal = 50cm

In triangle ABC,

By Pythagoras Theorem,

AB² + BC² = AC²

x² + x² = 50²

2x² = 2500

x² = 2500/2 = 1250

x = 25√2

Side of the square = a = 25√2

Perimeter = 4a units

Perimeter = 4×25√2

= 100√2 cm or 141.42 cm

Hope it helps you:)

sahithyas01: can u say me how u got 25
sahithyas01: if 1250 / 2 = 625
sahithyas01: 625/2 = 312.5
SuhaniiAgarwal: x² = 1250
SuhaniiAgarwal: so x is √1250
SuhaniiAgarwal: 1250 = 625 × 2
SuhaniiAgarwal: √1250 = √(625×2) = 25√2
SuhaniiAgarwal: [ √625 = 25 ]
