Now, diagonals of rhombus bisect each other at right angles.

Thus, we have  ,

AO = 1/2 × AC

      = 1/2 × 16

      = 8 cm

BO = 1/2 × AD

      = 1/2 × 12

      = 6 cm

Since AOB is a right angled triangle, by pythagoras theorem, we have,

AB² = AO² + BO²

       = 8² + 6²

       = 64 + 36

       = 100

AB = √100

     = 10 cm

Thus, length of each side of rhombus is 10 cm.
