A median is a line drawn from a vertex of a triangle to the midpoint of the opposite side.

Given,

 Length of the hypotenuse= 15 unit

We know,

Median = 1/2 the length of the hypotenuse
               = 1/2(15)
                = 7.5 unit.

Answer:

the length of median of its hypotenuse = 7.5

Step-by-step explanation:

The length of hypotenuse of a right angled triangle is 15.

Let say Triangle is ABC

with side a , b & c

c being hypotenuse

mc = Median of hypotenuse

mc  =(\frac{1}{2}) \sqrt{2a^2 + 2b^2 - c^2} \\

a² + b² = c²  ( Pythagoras theorem)

=> 2a² + 2b² - c² = a² + b² + a² + b² -c²

= c² + c² - c²

= c²

using this

mc = c/2

c = 15

=> mc = 15/2

=> mc = 7.5

the length of median of its hypotenuse = 7.5
