In a Right Triangle,

 {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  =  {c}^{2}

Where a and b are the adjacent sides and c is the hypotenuse.

Here we have given one adjacent side a = 27 and the hypotenuse c = 45cm

Therefore by using Pythagoras Theorem,

 {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  =  {c}^{2}

 {b}^{2}  =  {c}^{2}  -  {a}^{2}

b =  \sqrt{ {c}^{2} -  {a}^{2}  }

b =  \sqrt{ {45}^{2}  -  {27}^{2} }

b =  \sqrt{2025 - 729}

b =  \sqrt{1296}

b = 36

Therefore length of other adjacent side will be 36cm
