By Pythagoras Theorem ,

⇒$X^{2} = 17^{2} - 8^{2}$

⇒$X = \sqrt{ 17^{2} - 8^{2}$

⇒$X = \sqrt{ 289 - 64$

⇒$X = \sqrt{ 225$
