In an isosceles right-angled triangle two sides are equal.

If one side is 10cm then the other side is also 10cm

The hypotenuse is the biggest side

∴,(hypotenuse)² =10²+10²

⇒hypotenuse=  \sqrt{2  \times 100}

 = 10 \sqrt{2}
