In an isosceles right-angled triangle two sides are equal.

If one side is 10cm then the other side is also 10cm

The hypotenuse is the biggest side

∴,(hypotenuse)² =10²+10²

⇒hypotenuse=  \sqrt{2  \times 100}

 = 10 \sqrt{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

an isosceles right-angled triangle two sides are equal.

If one side is 10cm then the other side is also 10cm

The hypotenuse is the biggest side

∴,(hypotenuse)

2

=10

2

+10

2

⇒hypotenuse=

2×100

=10

2

cm

∴ its perimeter=10+10+10

2

=20+10

2
