The length of large intestine is 1.5m and the length of small intestine is I think 6m then why large intestine is called large though it's length is small than small intestine??

because it stores the heavy food and fruits that is the reason of large intestine and small intestine is digest to flude things

Herbivores eating grass need a longer small intestine to allow the cellulose to be digested. Whereas Meat is easier to digest, hence carnivores like tiger have shorter small intestine.
