1 inch = 2.54 cm

24 inches = 60.96 cm

Now,

Let the breadth of poster be x.

Then, the length of poster will be 2x.

.°.  \:  \:  \: 2(x + 2x) = 60.96 \\ \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:    2x + 4x = 60.96 \\  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  6x = 60.96 \\   \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \: x =  \frac{60.96}{6}  = 10.16

Hence, The width of poster is 10.16 cm

And, the length of poster is 20.32 cm

Again,

Area \:  \:  \:  \:  of \:  \:  \:  \:  poster =  (10.16 \times 20.32) \\  \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: = 206.4512  \: {cm}^{2}  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: or \:  \:  \:  \:  \: 81.28  \: {inches}^{2}
