The length of minute hand of a clock is 14 cm. Caculate the speed with which the tip of the minute hand moves.

Radius=14 cm=0.14 m
Distance covered by tip in an hour
=2*pi*r
=2*22/7*0.14
=0.88 m
So,
speed=distance/time
=0.88/3600 m/s
=0.000245 m/s (approx)
