=22/7×14×14
=44×14
=616cm^2

in clock, minute hand is radius approximately.
so the area will be πr^2
let π be 22/7
by simplification you get,
2156 cm^2 ( should be pronounced square centimetre not centimetre square)
in one minute, the minute hand clock covers on full circle which means it swept the full are of clock which is 2156sq^2
