the length of minute hand on a wall clock is 7 cm. find the area swept by the minute hand in 30 minutes ​

For a minute hand, 60 minutes is equivalent to 360° and so 30 minutes will be 180 °

Area swept in 60 minutes is area of full circle.

So area swept in 30 minutes will be area of half circle.

 \sf \: Thus \:  area  \: swept = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7 =  \frac{ {77cm}^{2} }{?}
