Using Pythagoras' theorem,

a² + b² = c²

4.5² + b² = 7.5²

b² = 7.5² - 4.5²

b² = 36

b = √36

b = 6

Answer: The third side is 6cm

Answer:

x²=(7.5)²- (4.5)²

= (7.5)+(4.5) × (7.5) - (4.5)

= (12×3)

=36

= 6².(ANS)
