Area of trapezium with parallel sides 14 cm and 6 cm and height 5 cm is 50 cm².

Formula used:

Area of trapezium = 1/2 (Sum of parallel sides) × height

Given:

Length of Parallel sides of a trapezium = 14 cm and 6 cm

Height of a trapezium = 5cm

To find: Area of trapezium

Solution:

Step1 : Find the sum of parallel sides

Sum of parallel sides = 14 cm + 6 cm = 20 cm

Step 2: Find the area of trapezium

Area of trapezium = ½ (Sum of parallel sides) × height

Area of trapezium = ½ × 20 × 5

Area of trapezium = 10 × 5

Area of trapezium = 50 cm²

Hence, the Area of trapezium is 50 cm².
