Answer : 24 cm

Solution :
__________

Given that : Length of parallel sides of trapezium = 55.6 cm and 34.4 cm

Also given that : The area of Trapezium = 1080 cm²

As we know that : The area of Trapezium :

 \frac{1}{2}  \times h \times (sum \: of \: parallel \: sides)

where, h = distance between parallel sides

Now, according to the question :

 \frac{1}{2}  \times h \times (55.6 + 34.4) = 1080 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{1}{2}  \times h \times 90 = 1080 \\  \\  =  > h =  \frac{1080 \times 2}{90}  \\  \\  =  > h = 24 \: cm

So, the distance between parallel sides will be 24 cm.

Answer the length between both sides is height

Step-by-step explanation:

area of trapezium = 1÷2 × (a+b) ×h

1080=1÷2 ×(55.6 + 34.4 ) × h

1080×2= 90×h

2160=90×h

2160÷90=h

24=h
