\large\underline {Given}

Length of pipe = 1m 35cm

\large\underline {solution}

First convert the length of pipe in Centimetres.

1m = 100cm × 1

1m 35cm = 135 cm.

Let's assume the length of one piece be 2 x and the length of second piece be 3 x

2 x +3 x = 135 cm

5 x = 135 cm

 x = \frac{135}{5}

 x = 27 cm.

Length of one piece.

2 x

2 × 27

= 54 cm

Length of second piece.

3 x

3 × 27

= 81 cm
