Let the length and breadth of the rectangle be 5x and 3x respectively

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)
64 = 2(5x + 3x)
64 = 2(8x)
64 = 16x
64/16 = x
4 = x

Length = 5x = 5*4 = 20units
Breadth = 3x = 3*4 = 12units

Hence, the length and breadth of the rectangle is 20units and 12units respectively

Let the length & breadth be 5x & 3x
perimeter = 2(l+b)= 2×( 5x + 3x)
2× 8x =16x = 64
x = 64÷16=4
length = 5×4=20
breadth = 3×4=12
