Answer:

Answer

Let l be the length of rectangle

and b be the breath of rectangle

A/Q,

l=2b−16⟶(1)

also,perimeter=112m

⇒2(l+b)=112

⇒2(2b−16+b)=112(from(1))

⇒b=24m

and,

l=2.24−16

⇒l=32m

Let the length& breadth of the Rectangle be 'l' &,'b' respectively.

As per the Question,

l = 2b - 16 ---(1)

Perimeter = 122m

\implies 2(l+b) = 122

\implies 2(2b-16+b) = 122 ---[from (1)]

\implies 2(3b-16)=122

\implies 6b = 122+16=138

 \implies \:b\:  =  \dfrac{138}{6}  = 23

Breadth = 23m

\:

Length = 2 × 23 - 16 = 30

\implies l = 30 m
