•     The length of rectangle is 2cm more than twice its breadth. Perimeter of the rectangle is 82cm. Find its length and breadth.

\star\:\:\:\bf\underline\blue{Solution:-}

Let, breadth of the rectangle be x cm.

Therefore, length = (2x+2)cm

Perimeter=2\times (Length+Breadth)

\implies 82=2\times(x+2x+2)

\implies 82=2\times(3x+2)

\implies(3x+2)=41

\implies 3x=39

\implies x=13

Therefore,

Breadth = 13cm.

Length = 2\times13+2cm=28cm.

•     Length = 28cm.

•     Breadth = 13cm.

Given :

The length of rectangle is 2 cm more than twice its breadth

Perimeter of the rectangle = 82 cm

To find:

The length  of the breadth of the rectangle

Calculation :

Let 'l' be the length and 'b' be the breadth of the rectangle. According t0 the given data

=> l = 2b + 2      .....(1)

=> Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l+b)

=> 82 = 2(2b+2+b)

=> 82 = 6b + 4

=> 6b = 78

=> b = 13 cm

=> l = 2b + 2          {From equation (1)}

=> i = 2(13) + 2

=> l = 28 cm

The length of the triangle is 28 cm and breadth of the triangle is 13 cm
