the length of rectangle is 3 more than its breadth if perimeter is 30m then its length is

Given ,

=> L= b+ 3

so perimeter => 2(l + b) =30

=> l + b = 15 [l=b+3]

=> b+3+b = 15

=> 2b =12

=> b= 6

=> And

=> l= 9

let the breadth be x.
so the length will be 3+X
2(l+b) = perimeter
2(3+X+x) = 30m
6+4x= 30m
4x=30-6
4x=24
X=24÷4
X=6
so length=6+3
=9m
