let, length be 3+b
breadth be b
perimeter be 30+3+b
now,
perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)
30+3+b=2(3+b+b)
33+b=2(3+2b)
33+b=6+4b
33-6=4b-b
27=3b
27/3=b
9=b
so, breadth of rectangle=b
=9
length of rectangle=3+b
=3+9
=12
perimeter of rectangle=30+3+b
=30+3+9
=42

let breadth be = x

length = x + 3

perimeter = 2( l +b)

according to the question

2 ( x + x +3) = 30

2( 2x + 3) = 30

4x + 6 = 30

4x = 30-6

4x = 24

x = 24/4 = 6

length = x+ 3

= 6+ 3

=9
hope it helps you.
