$x = \frac{84}{10}$

$x = 8.4cm$

Perimeter = 84 cm

Let the breadth be x.

Length = 4 + x

Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)

84 = 2(4 + x + x)

42 = 4 + 2x

42 - 4 = 2x

2x = 40

x = 40 ÷ 2

x = 20

Hence, the breadth is 20 cm.

Length = 4 + 20 cm

Length = 24 cm

Length + Breadth = 24 cm + 20 cm = 44 cm
