Hi there!

If we write this as an equation, we can write it as:
2(2b+7) = 50 (because 2(l+b) = perimeter)
So, 2b+7 = 25
2b = 18
b = 9

Therefore, breadth = 9, length = 16.
Let's verify the perimeter.
2(l+b) = 50
2( 16+9) = 50
2(25) = 50.

Hope it helps!!

Let the breadth be x and length be x+7
then,
perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
2(x+7+x) = 50
2(2x+7) = 50
4x+14 = 50
4x = 50 - 14
4x = 36
x = 36/4
so, x = 9
length of rectangle is 9+ 7 = 16
and breadth is 9.
