Solutions:-

Given : perimeter of rectangle is 44 cm

Let the breadth of rectangle be x

So, Length = x + 8 cm

We know,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length  + breadth)

A/q

=> 2(x + 8 + x) = 44

=> 2x + 16 + 2x = 44

=> 4x = 44 - 16

=> x = 28/4 = 7

Hence,

Length = x + 8cm = (7 + 8) cm = 15 cm

Breadth = x = 7 cm

hello \: mate
here \: is \: your \: solution - - - -

Let the width be x cm

The length is x + 8 cm

The perimeter of the rectangle is 44 cm

A.T.Q.

=> Perimeter = 2 ( l + b )

=> 44 cm = 2 ( x + x + 8 )

=> 44 cm = 2 ( 2 x + 8 )

=> 44 cm = 4 x + 16

=> 44 - 16 = 4 x

=> 28 = 4 x

Thus

x = 7

Therefore,

The width (x) = 7cm
&
The length( x + 8 ) = 15 cm

I hope it is clear to you

krishna7684: let width = x and therefore length = 8+x perimeter = 44 so 44 = 2 (8+x +x) 44 = 16+4x 4x = 28 x = 7 and length = 15
