The length of rectangle is decresed by 50% what percentage the width have to be increased to get the same area

let the length be 10m and width be 5m

then area of rectangle will be

10 \times 5

50 sqm

lenght decreased by 50%

so 10 ÷2

=5

area = 5×5

=25 sqm

so widht should be 2 times

=5 ×2

=10

area = l * w

=5 * 10

=50 sqm

WIDTH SHOULD BE INCREASED BY 2 TIMES
