Length = x + 18

Area of rectangle = Length x breadth =x(x + 18)


if length and breadth are incredibly by6 cm, it's area increased by 168 cc

New length = x +24

Breadth = x + 6

New area becomes (x + 24)(x +6) = x(x + 18) + 168

x^2 + 30x + 144 = x^2 + 18x + 168

x = 2

Therefore Breadth = 2cm and Length = 20cm
