Step-by-step explanation:

Let the breadth of rectangle be x cm .

then the length of rectangle = 3x-1

By Phythagores Theorem

(x)²+(3x-1)²=(37)²

x²+9x²+1-6x=1369

10x²-6x-1368=0

10x²-120x+114x-1368=0

10x(x-12)+114(x-12)=0

(10x+114) (x-12)=0

x=12,-11.4

Breadth = 12

Length = 3×12-1 = 36-1 = 35
