The length of rectangle is thrice its width . if its perimeter is 4 cm . find its dismensions.

Answer:

let the width = x cm

A/q , Length = 3x cm

now perimeter of rectangle = 2(L+B)

2(3x+x) = 4cm

2(4x) = 4

8x = 4

x = 1/2 = 0.5 cm( width)

length = 3x = 3(0.5) = 1.5 cm
