The relation between length and breadth is given

length = 2 × breadth

Also, the perimeter is 90 cm

We have to find the length

perimeter =  2 ( length + breadth )

            90 = 2 { 2(breadth) + breadth }

             45 = 3 × breadth

    breadth = 45/3

                   = 15

So, length = 2 × breadth

                 = 2 × 15

                = 30

Hence, the length of the rectangle will be 30 cm

In context to question asked,

We have to determine the value of length of rectangle.

As per data,

We have,

The length of rectangle is twice its breadth.

Perimeter of rectangle = 90 cm

So, let the breadth or rectangle = x

So, the length of rectangle will be = 2x

As we know that,

Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)\\

So, we will put the given value in above equation,

Thus we will get,

Perimeter = 2(x+2x)\\=>90 = 2\times 3x\\=>6x = 90\\=>x = \frac{90}{6} = 15

Hence, the value of length of rectangle =2x = 2\times 15=30\:m\\
