Let the breadth of rectangle P be x. Then

The breadth of rectangle Q be 3x.

Area of rectangle P=l*b

=2x*x

=2x2

Area of rectangle Q=l*b

=x*3x

=3x2

Ratio of their rectangle=

Area of rectangle Q÷

Area of rectangle P

then,

3x2÷2x2

=3:2

Hence, the ratio of rectangle=
