THE length of rectangular field is twice it's breadth if the perimeter of the field is 120 m find its breadth and length

Let the breadth be x

Length will be 2x

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(L+B)

2(2x+x) = 120

2(3x) = 120

6x = 120

x = 120/6

x = 20

Breadth = 20 m

Length = 2 x 20 = 40 m
