Let the width be a

Length = 2a

Perimeter = 228 m

=> 2 (L +B) = 228

=> a+2a = 114

=> 3a = 114

=> a = 38

Width = 38 m

Length = 76 m

hii!!

here's ur answer...

given that the length of the rectangular field is twice of breadth.

let the breadth be x, therefore length will be 2x

perimeter of the rectangular field=228m

→ 2(l+b)=228m

→ 2(2x+x)=228m

→ 2×3x=228m

→ 3x=228/2

→ 3x=114m

→ x=114/3

→ x=38

hence breadth of the rectangular field=x

=38m

length of the rectangular field=2x

=2×38
=76m

★ verification ★

perimeter of rectangular field=2(l+b)

=2(76+38)

=2×114

=228m

hence verified...

hope this helps..!
