let breadth be x
so by condition
length=2x+3
we know that
perimeter of rectangle=2 (l+b)
so
66=2 (2x+3+x)
33=3x+3
3x=30
x=30/3=10
so length=2 (10)+3=23

Answer:

13 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Define x:

Let the breadth be x

The length = x + 3

Solve x:

The perimeter is 66 m

2( Length + Breadth) = 66

2 (x + 3 + x ) = 66

2(3x + 3) = 66

3x + 3 = 33

3x = 30

x = 10

Find the length:

Length = x + 3 = 10 + 3 = 13 m

Answer: 13 m
