Distance from centre of the circle =13cm

As we know the right angle in tangent is at tangent.

Using pythogorean theorem

Hyp^2 =opp.^2+adj.^2

13sq=xsq+12sq

169=x2+144

169-144=xsq

25=xsq

5=x

Therefore radius of circle is 5cm.
