length of diagonal is =√2a where a is the side of diagonal so in this l=12√2 so a=12 so perimeter is 4a ie 48

manasvi7: its 48 na?
hassan20: why
manasvi7: because in our school answer48 is given wrong
hassan20: see the mechanism of this is right l=a/√2 we have given length we have to find 4a the answer is true
manasvi7: thanks

Answer:

48 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula of diagonal of square  = \sqrt{2} a

Where a is the side of the square

We are also given that The length of the diagonal of a square is 12 square root 2 cm.

So, 12 \sqrt{2}= \sqrt{2} a

12 = a

Thus the side of the square is 12 cm

Perimeter of square = 4 \times side

                                 = 4 \times 12

                                 = 48 cm

Thus the perimeter of the square is 48 cm.
