Let the side be a cm
According to question
 \sqrt{ {a}^{2} + {a}^{2} } = 8 \sqrt{2} \\ \sqrt{2 {a}^{2} } = 8 \sqrt{2} \\ \sqrt{2 } \times a = 8 \sqrt{2 } \\ a = 8
Side of square = 8cm
Area of square =64 cm sq.
