Step-by-step explanation:

Rhombus

Solve for perimeter

P=100cm

p Diagonal

30

cm

q Diagonal

40

cm

Using the formulas

P=4a

a=p2+q2

Solving forP

P=2p2+q2=2·302+402=100cm

Given that :-

  • the length of the diagonal of the Rhombus are 30 cm and 40 cm

To find :-

  • the perimeter of the Rhombus.

\huge\mathfrak{Solution:}

Diagonal 30cm = 15cm+15cm (Legs of right triangle within rhombus)

Diagonal 40cm = 20cm+20cm (Legs of right triangle within rhombus)

we have to find the side of rhombus using pythagorean theorem,

Formula to find perimeter,

p = 4s s = side of rhombus

15^2 + 20^2 = s^2 225 + 400 = s^2 625

= s^2 s = 25 .

Now perimeter of rhombus, = 4*s = 4*25 = 100 .

Therefore result of perimeter is 100cm

\huge\boxed{100\:cm}
