Given

length of the diagonals of a rhombus are 24cm and 32 cm.

Find the perimeter of the rhombus .

To proof

Formula

Perimeter\ of\ rhombus = 2 \sqrt{a^{2}+ b^{2}

where a , b are the diagonal of the rhombus.

As given

diagonals of a rhombus are 24cm and 32 cm.

put in the above equation

we get

= 2\sqrt{(24)^{2} + (32)^{2}}

solve the above

=2 \sqrt{576 + 1024}

=2\sqrt{1600}

= 2× 40

= 80 cm²

the perimeter of the rhombus is 80 cm².

Hence proved
