let a be the side of the rhombus
so the diagonals will be 8a,6a
perimeter of rhombus =4a
4a =40
a = 40/4
a =10 cm
so the length of diagonals are
8a =8*10 =80cm
6a = 6*10 =60cm
length of shorter diagonal = 60cm
