C ) 10 cm

Sol: If Suppose ABCD is a rhombus

and AC and BD are Diagonals Such that

AC= 16cm and BD = 12 Cm

we k/t Diagonals of a rhombus are prependicular and bisect each other

So AC is prependicular and bisector of BD at O

so AO= 8cm and BO= 6cm

also in Right ∆ AOB, By Pythagoras theorem

sq of hypt = sq of Base + sq of Prependicular

sq of AB = sq of BO + sq of AO

sq of AB = sq of 6cm + sq of 8cm

sq of AB = 36cm sq+64cm sq

sq of AB = 100 cm sq

AB =✓100 cm sq

AB = 10 cm
