Given:   x^{2}+y^{2} -6x-8y=0

We know that the general equation of a circle is of form

x^{2} +y^{2}+2gx+2fy+c=0

and the radius of such a circle will be

\sqrt{g^{2}+f^{2}-c^{2}   }

By comparing the general equation with the given equation, we get

2g=-6

2f=-8

c=0

Radius=\sqrt{(-3)^{2}+(-4)^{2}-0  }

            =\sqrt{9+16}

            =\sqrt{25}

Radius =5

Diameter=5\times 2=10

So, the diameter of the circle will be 10
