Answer: Given:

Length of two equal sides of an isosceles triangle = 17/7 cm = 17 divided by 7

                                                                                   = 2 whole 3/7

Perimeter of the triangle = 13/2 cm = 6 whole 1/2

So, length of the third side = 17/7 * 2 from 13/2

                                            = 34/7 from 13/2 = 68/14 from 191/14 = 123/14

                                            = 8 whole 11/14 cm

Therefore, the length of the third side of the triangle is 8 whole 11/14 as perimeter is 13 whole 9/14.
