Answer :

Perimeter of trapezium = 130 m.

Perimeter = AB + BC+ CD +DA

= AB+ 54 +19+42

130=AB + 115

AB = 130 - 115

height = 15 m.

Area = 1/2 ×( 96 ) × 15

= 48 × 15

Ans=720 m. Sq.

Answer: the area of the trapezium shaped field ABCD is 720 square meter

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a trapezium is given by the formula:

Area = (a + b)h/2

Where a and b are the lengths of the parallel sides and h is the height or distance between the parallel sides.

From the information given, we know that the length of the fence is 130m, and that side AB is perpendicular to each of the parallel sides AD and BC.

We also know that BC = 54m, CD = 19m, and AD = 42m.

To find the height (AB), we can use the fact that the perimeter of the trapezium is equal to the sum of all its sides.

130 = AB + AD + BC + CD

130 = AB + 42 + 54 + 19

AB = 15 m

Now we can use the formula to find the area of the trapezium:

Area = (42 + 54) * 15 / 2

Area = 96 * 15 / 2

Area = 1440 /2 square meters

Area = 720 square meters

So the area of the trapezium shaped field ABCD is720 square meters.

A trapezium is a quadrilateral with one pair of parallel sides, also known as the bases. The other two sides, known as the legs, are not parallel. It has  no opposite sides are congruent. It is a two-dimensional geometric shape that has 4 sides and 4 angles. In a trapezium, the parallel sides are referred to as the bases and the non-parallel sides as the legs. The area of a trapezium is calculated by multiplying the sum of the parallel sides by the height and then dividing the result by 2
