The length of the floor of a rectangular auditorium is 6m more than the radius of a circle with a circumference of 572m. The perimeter of the floor of the rectangular auditorium is 356m. What will be the cost of flooring the auditorium (only the floor of the auditorium), if the cost of flooring is Rs. 12/m?

Answer:

Circumference of the circle =572m.

Radius of the circle= 2×22

572 ×7=91m

Length of the auditorium =91+6=97m

Width of the auditorium = 2

356−97=81m

Cost of flooring =12×97×81

=Rs.94284.

Answer:

your answer my friend

Step-by-step explanation:

Circumference of circle = 2πr

=> 572 = 2×227×r

=> r=572×72×22=91

∴ Length of floor = 91 + 6

= 97 metre = l

∴ 2 (l + b) = 356

=> 2 (97 + b) = 356

=> 97 + b = 178

=> b = 178 - 97 = 81 metre

∴ Area of floor = 97×81

= 7857 sq. metre

∴ Required cost = 12×7857

= Rs. 94284
