Given length l=2(×breadth)
l=2b
b=l/2;
The total cost is Rs. 2400 per square metre.
The cost for 1 square metre is Rs. 40
The total square metre =2400/48
=50 square metre
The area of the floor=length×breadth
50=l×(l/2)
(l^2)/2=50
l^2=100
l=10 metre.
