• Area of Floor = 84 m

⇒To Find:

• Length = ?
• Breath = ?

⇒Solution:

⇒Let Breath be x meter

$\therefore$ Length = x+5

According to question:-

$x\times (x+5)=84$

⇒$x^2+5x-84=0$

⇒$x^2+12x-7x-84=0$

⇒$x(x+12)-7(x+12)$

⇒$(x-7)(x+12)$

Which means -

x = 7 m and x = -12 m

We will take the positive Value as Distance is always taken positive

⇒Length = 7+5 = 12 m
