Answer:

4 root tower 2² cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Sides of isosceles are Equal , let them be x

Area of right Angled isosceles Triangle = 1/2 × x × x = 8

x = 4 cm

Now, the Length of the Hypotenuse is = 4² + 4² = 4 root tower 2² cm

Given area of the iosceles right triangle = 8cm

Area of an isosceles triangle = 1/2 (Base ✖ height)

= 8 = 1/2 (Base ✖ height )

( base : height, as triangle as a isosceles triangle )

(Base) = 2 = 16 , Base= 4cm

In ABC , using pythagoras theoram

ac  {}^{2}  = ab { }^{2}  + bc { }^{2}  = 42 + 42 = 16 + 16

ac {}^{2}  = 32 = ac \sqrt[]{} 32cm

( taking positive square root because length is always positive )

Hence, the length of hypotenuse is

 \sqrt[]{} 32cm
