meters more than its base.If the perimeter of the triangle is 44 meters, find the lengths of the sides of the triangle .​

let the base of the isosceles triangle be x m.

Then its legs = (x+4)cm

BTP

or x+4+x+4+x=44

or 3x+8=44

or 3x=44-8

or 3x=36

or x=36\3

=12

base = 12 cm

each leg =(12+4)cm

=16 cm
