Answer: Length of two parallel sides are 9 cm and 15 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

ratio of length of two parallel side - 3 : 5

height of trapezium (Distance b/w two parallel sides of them) - 10 cm

area of trapezium - 120 sq cm

we know, Area of trapezium = sum of length of two parallel sides * height * 1/2

let, length of two parallel sides be 3x, 5x.

therefore, 120 = 3x + 5x * 10 * 1/2

or, 120 = 8x * 5

or, 120 = 40x

or, x = 120/40

x = 3

therefore, length of two parallel sides = 3x = 3*3 =9 cm and 5x = 5*3 = 15 cm

answer -- the length of parallel side are 9 and 15 cm.

let the length of parallel side be 3x and 5x respectively.

area = 1/2 × (3x+ 5x) × 10

120= 5 × (8x )

x = 3.
